EXPERIENCE
January 2011-Present: The Fuhrl Artist’s Collective, Philadelphia, PA
            co-founder and head of fund-development and networking of a local collective of visual artists, musicians, 
            chefs, and writers.  We showcase local and emerging artists various Philadelphia venues (including PhilaMOCA, 
            the Bookspace, and Underground Arts), with an objective to encourage creative activity across genres, media, and 
            disciplines and to strengthen the connections between artists in the local creative community. 
             
January 2011: La Fragua Artist’s Residency Program, Belalcazar, Spain
            artist-in-residence

July-August 2010: Phillip Hua Studios, San Francisco, CA
            intern: market research, data collection and organization, scouting work for exhibition locations, editing, studio 
           preparatory work and assistance

February 2009-December 2010: Moore College of Art and Design, Philadelphia, PA
            Peer Tutor

May 2009: The Galleries at Moore, Philadelphia, PA
            Held position of primary instructor at free bookmaking workshop (accordion structure and hardboard covers) for
            local senior citizens.

2003-2009:  Pretty Flowers (Landscaping and Design), Brunswick, ME
            Part-time assistant: floral arranging, wedding and event floral design, landscaping

September 2008-May 2009: The Philadelphia School, Philadelphia, PA
            Art teacher, project designer at After School Enrichment Program: lead art, cooking, and academic groups, provided
            assistance to students in after-school study, chaperoned field trips and designed lesson plans within art curriculum

June 2009 through August 2009: Private Residence (Swan/Budd family), Brunswick, ME
            Full-time Caregiver: Managed daily schedule for each child, cooked two meals a day, provided transportation, 
            created art projects and planned day trips to enrich the children’s summers while both parents worked.  Prepared 
            each child academically for the coming semester.

May 2004-August 2008, summers only: Paul’s Marina, Brunswick, ME
            Multifaceted position: launch-boat driver, lobster fetcher, signage design, and sandwich maker.  Critical safety 
            training at the beginning of each summer. People skills essential.
